Case Assistant (Full and Part-Time option)

Garcia Hong Law is a boutique litigation firm based in San Diego, representing businesses and individuals in complex civil matters. They are seeking a Case Assistant to support four attorneys in all phases of litigation, including organizing case files, preparing pleadings, and managing administrative tasks. Responsibilities Organize and maintain case files (electronic and physical), including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence Save and properly name/file documents in Dropbox and case management systems (e.g., Clio) Assist with preparing and assembling pleadings and discovery for filing and service Coordinate filing and service (e-filing, mail, courtesy copies) and track confirmations Log and track case-related expenses (filing fees, service fees, transcripts, experts) to the appropriate matters Upload and organize incoming records and document productions Assist with subpoena preparation and tracking (records received, follow-ups) Support attorneys and paralegals with document organization for depositions, hearings, and mediations Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including scanning and saving to the correct matter Perform general administrative support to keep cases organized and moving Skills College degree Highly organized with strong attention to detail Professional, proactive, and team-oriented Experience with case management systems (e.g., Clio) is a plus Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Support for CLEs and involvement in professional/community organizations Company Overview Crafting diverse solutions for businesses and individuals.
