RESPONSIBILITIES: The Family Partner uses lived experience with mental and/or behavioral health challenges—personally or as a parent/guardian—to support and empower families. This role works directly with families in the community to promote family preservation, ensuring the family’s voice guides care planning. Responsibilities include providing advocacy, connecting families to community resources, offering parenting support and coaching, and assisting with home management skills to maintain a safe and healthy environment. The Family Partner builds positive, professional relationships with clients and community partners. Local travel is required, with occasional out-of-town travel. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED required Personal lived experience of navigating the mental health, special education, juvenile justice, or child welfare system; OR raising/have raised a child that has navigated those systems. Must be at least 21 years of age.? Willingness to submit to record checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, distributing drugs or sex crimes.
