Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting;
• Provide medication reminders and assistance as needed;
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, if required;
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dusting, washing dishes, and vacuuming;
• Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and recreational activities;
• Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed;
• Observe and report any changes in the client's physical condition, behavior, or environment to the supervisory nurse or manager;
• Comply with all state and organization regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required;
• CPR and First Aid certification (can be obtained upon hiring);
• A compassionate and patient demeanor, with excellent communication skills;
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist clients with mobility;
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation;
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
