Role Description Mercor is hiring experienced Cardiologists (MDs and DOs) to collaborate with a leading AI lab on a new project. The focus is on developing and evaluating advanced AI systems for medicine-specific research tasks and simulating real-world medical workflows. Contribute clinical expertise to the design and evaluation of AI medical outputs Review AI-generated medical case studies, diagnoses, and workflows for accuracy and alignment with medical standards Provide structured feedback on clarity, safety, and medical rigor Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to refine model performance and outputs Qualifications 2+ years of clinical practice work experience in the US Experience in Cardiology MD or DO from a reputable medical school Excellent attention to detail and written communication Location: Candidates must be in the US, UK, Canada or Australia Requirements Start Date: Immediate Duration: 6 weeks Commitment: Part-time (20+ hours/week) Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous – flexible working hours Compensation & Contract Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($130–$170 USD/hr) Top performers receive weekly bonus incentives of $30/hr on top of their pay rate Independent contractor Daily payment via Stripe Connect Application & Onboarding Process Upload your resume and application form Model-training interview: A 25-minute conversational session to understand your professional background, experience, and motivations Follow-up communication within a few days with next steps and onboarding details Company Description Mercor is a San Francisco-based company specializing in connecting elite professionals with cutting-edge AI initiatives.
