Campus Immersion Tutor - Empowering Students in Austin, TX

SiSTEM Tutoring Agency LLC is seeking a passionate and qualified Campus Immersion Tutor to work with students in a face-to-face environment at various schools across Austin, TX. As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives, develop their academic skills, and foster a love for learning.
About the Role:
Provide one-on-one academic support to students in a variety of subjects, including Science, Social Studies, Math, and Reading.
Develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and communicate with parents and teachers as needed.
Work with students from diverse backgrounds, including migrant students, and demonstrate compassion and empathy.
Utilize technology, including email, texting, Slack, and Google Sheets/Excel, to stay organized and communicate effectively.
Requirements:
Eligible to work in the United States with a valid Social Security Number.
Commitment to tutoring for the duration of the assignment with a possibility of extension.
Reliable transportation and ability to attend in-person tutoring sessions in a timely and consistent manner.
Pass a background check.
Great interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt and relate to students from diverse backgrounds.
Own computer and technological savvy.
Ideal Candidate:
College student with at least 60 hours of credit hours or college graduate (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral degree holder).
Certified teacher with SBEC or other teacher state licensure certification or retired teacher with SBEC or other teacher state licensure certification.
Skilled in any grade level of Math, Science, Social Studies, or Reading.
Minimum of 1-2 years of mentoring, tutoring, or teaching experience.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
