Call Center Registered Nurse

Podimetrics is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Call Center Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a key member of our patient support team, you will provide remote nursing care, patient education, and guidance over the phone, ensuring quality healthcare access and positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities:

• Provide telephonic nursing care and support to patients, addressing their concerns and medical inquiries.


• Assess patient conditions based on reported symptoms and provide appropriate recommendations.


• Educate patients on chronic disease management, medication adherence, and preventive care.


• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and follow-up.


• Document all patient interactions accurately in the system.


• Triage patient concerns and escalate cases as needed to the appropriate medical professionals.


• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.


• Support patient engagement and adherence to treatment plans.


• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices in telehealth nursing.


• Provide compassionate and professional communication to enhance the patient experience.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of practice.


• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a telehealth, call center, or triage setting.


• Strong communication and active listening skills.


• Ability to assess and address patient concerns effectively over the phone.


• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation.


• Familiarity with chronic disease management and patient education.


• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
