Role: Call Center Customer Service Representative
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday - 12:30pm-9:00pm...
Start Date: 4/16/2024 (This position starts as a month contract, however could be extended up to a year or longer based on performance.
This role is completely remote, however you must supply all of your own equipment. It is mandatory to reside in Jacksonville, Florida.
As a Customer Service Representative in our call center, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding service to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include handling incoming calls from potential and existing customers, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met efficiently. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing assistance and guidance with professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answering incoming calls promptly and courteously, delivering exceptional customer service on every interaction.
• Engaging with callers to understand their concerns and requirements through effective questioning techniques.
• Providing accurate information and resolving customer issues or directing them to the appropriate department or team member when necessary.
• Logging and managing call details accurately using our computer systems and applications.
• Maintaining a positive and enthusiastic demeanor to enhance the overall customer experience during phone interactions.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment.
• Adhering to a schedule that ends no later than 10 pm Eastern Time, with flexibility for either a Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
• Access to home equipment including a computer, monitor, and headset compatible with Avaya for incoming customer interactions.
• Ability to allow required software, including virtual Softphone for calls, to be uploaded to personal computer.
• Reliable internet service with a minimum upload and download speed of 25mbps, confirmed through a speed test
• Minimum hardware specifications including a Core i3 processor with 16GB of RAM and Windows 10 operating system.
• Must have a modem connection and be hardwired to the computer via an Ethernet cable (cannot connect via WIFI)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone etiquette.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with composure.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to navigate through multiple systems simultaneously.
• A customer-centric mindset with a genuine desire to assist and support customers.
