California Special Education Case Manager Remote Position
VocoVision is seeking an experienced Special Education Case Manager (K-12) to work remotely with students in California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the educational needs of students with special needs, ensuring compliance with IEPs, and supporting students' overall academic development through careful case management.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
Serve as the main point of contact for students, families, and the educational team regarding student needs and progress.
Ensure IEPs are in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Coordinate services and accommodations, making recommendations as necessary to support students' academic goals.
Participate in IEP meetings, providing updates and facilitating collaboration between parents, teachers, and other support staff.
Maintain detailed records of IEP meetings, progress reports, and case notes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Special Education, Social Work, or related field required
Valid California Teaching Credential or Case Manager Certification required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education case management
Must meet all necessary clearances to work in public/charter schools
Experience with IEP development and compliance required
Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week
