Job title: CAD Lead (Remote) in Acworth, GA at Selectek

Job description: Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Remote CAD Lead responsible for working on wireless telecommunications projects. Projects include wireless tower facilities, equipment on rooftops, small cell and fiber projects. Duties will include QA/QC responsibilities for right of way designs, and production CAD work for wireless towers, rooftop equipment, power, telephone, fiber and co-locations.Required:
• 10+ years related CADD design experience with AutoCAD in the telecom (wireless) industry
• Minimum of 10+ years experience working on a local network and server is required
• Solid understanding and experience with Microsoft Office software is required, proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience leading drafters, quality control, and managing deadlines required

Job Responsibilities:
• Aid in the production of construction drawings and the development of standard details and standard prototypes at front end of project.
• Modify and/or refine details and prototypes at the direction of the Design Engineer.
• Optimize efficiency and production.
• Communicate with other project team members and make occasional field design walks to obtain necessary data and requirements.
• Follow schedule of priorities as established by Design Engineer.
• Adhere to company standards for electronic and paper files.
• Utilize company CAD standards and follow requirements set by the Design Engineer on each project.
• Assist Project Engineer with Design Reviews and distribution of work to CAD drafters
• Learn new technology necessary for expanding work base
• Work with Project Engineers, coordinators, etc. to ensure quality performance

Pay Rate: $33.00 - $35.00
