Job Description:
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Conduct comprehensive business valuations for SBA loan applications, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, and other purposes.
ā¢ Analyze financial statements, market data, and industry trends to determine the economic value of businesses.
ā¢ Develop and apply various valuation methodologies, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Comparable Company Analysis, and Precedent Transaction Analysis.
ā¢ Prepare detailed valuation reports and present findings to stakeholders, including clients, attorneys, and financial professionals.
ā¢ Collaborate with auditors, accountants, and management to ensure accurate and reliable valuations.
ā¢ Stay updated with the latest economic market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes.
ā¢ Provide expert testimony and support in litigation matters related to business valuation.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) or equivalent certification.
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
ā¢ Minimum of 5 years of experience in business valuation, financial analysis, or related fields.
ā¢ Strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation methodologies.
ā¢ Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
ā¢ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
