Overview

The Business Systems Analyst role is aligned to our Content and Enablement team within the Enterprise of Data Mining and Yield Management. This role will partner will various divisions and levels of leadership within the whole organization.



A Business Systems Analyst will work alongside Technical Specialists, Analysts, Content and Datameer Managers as well as external departments including any level of leadership to collaborate in achieving the goals established by the department and organization. Knowledge of product management, healthcare and experience as an Agile Product Owner will be critical for success of this role in creating reports and pilot planning for concept related deliverables.

Responsibilities

Responsible for planning and execution throughout the Engineering and Research & Development (R&D) lifecycles, including but not limited to: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working closely with Developers, Sales, Product, and Support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Responsible for delivering functional specifications and business requirements with prioritized features and corresponding justification, run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples, and act as a domain expert within the organization.

Collaborate with other Business Analysts and Product Managers to understand and write reporting specific user personas to meet functional specifications and help convert into appropriate features for report development.

Assist report development teams in sizing and estimation of the product features.

Participate in planning activities by helping development teams to understand user personas and product features to build technical specifications for reporting.

Support Recovery Operations team to build proof of concepts. Present outcomes to stakeholders for feedback and provide additional recommendations to improve user experience.

Assist in Product releases and new client system implementations, including user setup and training.

Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.

Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma.

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Science, Public Health, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience partnering with internal and external customers.

Strong presentation and communication skills to demonstrate reporting solutions to external Customers.

Proven ability to lead initiatives, plan activities and resources, work hands-on, and mentor junior team members.

1 year of experience as Agile Product Owner (Preferred).

Previous experience with JIRA (Strongly preferred).

Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Well-organized with the ability to identify priorities and handle several projects simultaneously.

Proven ability to work closely with internal and external customers to understand and translate business needs and requirements into technical reporting specifications.

Proven ability to work with report development teams to ensure technical requirements are satisfied.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience in converting reporting requirements to visualized prototypes, preferred.

Must be self-motivated and passionate about delivering creative and value driven reporting solutions.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with competing priorities and ongoing deliverables.

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Requirement Gathering: need strong communication skills to effectively gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications for developers.

Managing Multiple Tasks: often juggle multiple projects or workstreams. They need strong mental capabilities to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.

Empathy: A high level of emotional intelligence helps to understand and manage the emotions and concerns of stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration.

Conflict Resolution: They must manage disputes or differing opinions between business teams and IT teams in a professional, calm, and constructive manner.

Base compensation ranges from $33.50 $40.50 per hour. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
