Business Ops Associate (REMOTE Metro Detroit)

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Business Operations Associate to join our team and provide essential administrative support. This role involves collecting invoices, entering billing information for client accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payment processes. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player who can motivate and hold team members accountable while managing customer accounts effectively.
Responsibilities
Manage customer accounts, including invoicing, collections, PO tracking, customer service, and resolving outstanding issues.
Respond to inquiries about payment discrepancies and provide necessary data to assist management with account-specific decisions.
Manage client accounts receivable aging.
Audit account-specific reports to ensure accurate billing and client information.
Manage customer-specific reporting as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience in invoicing, billing, and collections.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
Customer service mindset.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel with skills in V-Lookup and Pivot Table basics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
Resourcefulness and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
Self-driven and able to set and meet deadlines without micromanagement.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to problem-solve and understand the root cause of issues.
Enjoyment of working with numbers and spreadsheets.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Troy, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
