About the position

Ready for a career glow up? As Business Operations Manager, you'll be driving strategic initiatives and optimizing processes that support our stores and merchandising organization. The work you do will impact beauty, as you ensure our stores can focus on delivering best-in-class client experiences through streamlined operations and innovative programs. You'll be part of a team that's united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about empowering our stores and employees to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
• Program Management. Execute day-to-day operations of merchandising programs, support cross-functional business partner management, and drive store communications. Partner with Merchants, Merchandising Operations, Store Communications, and IT to bring initiatives to life.
• Strategic Partnership. Act as the store expert and thought partner for projects, ensuring decisions support our overall operating model and strategy when driving change across the organization. Represent Business Operations in cross-functional meetings.
• Process Optimization. Drive optimizations for key programs and initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce store workload, and maximize productivity, ensuring Policy and Procedure changes can be executed seamlessly in stores.
• Project Leadership. Manage multiple projects by driving timelines, deliverables, KPI reporting, recaps, and action plans post-delivery to drive continuous improvement. Present progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to all levels within the organization.
• Training & Development. Oversee the development of training programs to ensure store retention for all Business Operations Team projects. Lead project postmortems to identify learnings and future opportunities.
• Issue Management. Proactively identify potential problems, assess their impact, and implement effective solutions. Travel to Sephora stores as needed to check on project progress and gather feedback.

Requirements
• Retail Expertise. 3+ years of retail project management experience, with retail operations experience preferred. You understand the store environment and can translate strategy into executable action.
• Project Management Excellence. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects across different domains concurrently. Experience with Smartsheet or other project management software is a plus.
• Communication Mastery. Highly developed verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to provide effective feedback to multiple levels of people within the organization.
• Strategic Thinking. Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities with the courage to make key decisions independently. You're comfortable with ambiguity and willing to act with limited information.
• Innovative Mindset. You contribute new ideas and process improvements to find solutions to business challenges, with exceptional attention to detail, work ethic, and work product quality.
• Technical Proficiency. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management platforms.

Benefits
• Health. Choose a healthcare plan to fit you and your family’s needs with medical, dental, and vision coverage. Sephora also fully covers our employees’ disability and life insurance.
• Wealth. We offer a competitive 401k with 4% match as well as FSA and HSA programs. We also offer a Student Debt Retirement plan, where your student loan payments qualify to earn the 401k match from Sephora.
• Balance. You’ll be empowered to find the perfect blend of work/life balance that actually works for you with PTO, flexibility, protected leave, and more.
• Growth. Career growth is built into every role, with access to training, development, and tuition reimbursement.
• Perks. Think you’ve tried it all? Enjoy a 30% discount on all merchandise/services, opportunities for free product or “gratis,” and flash sale discounts on LVMH brand products.
