Business Operations Coordinator

Optum is focused on improving the flow of health data and information to create a more connected system. The Business Operations Coordinator will handle day-to-day administrative tasks that support the medical record retrieval business, including invoice review and coordination with provider offices. Responsibilities Invoice review Data entry Approve invoices based on specific business rules Coordination and communication with provider offices Skills High School Diploma / GED Must be 18 years of age OR older 1+ years of experience in medical record retrieval, accounting OR finance background Attention to detail Microsoft Excel skills include V-lookups and pivot tables Ability to work full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime Experience with provider groups, health information management, OR claims processing Knowledge of US healthcare system Experience with accounts payable Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Incentive and recognition programs Equity stock purchase 401k contribution Company Overview Optum is a healthcare company that provides pharmacy services, health care operations, and population health management.
