Position : Business Metrics/Analytics - Remote (Work 8am - 5pm PST Timings) Location : San Jose, CA Duration : 12 Months contract Total Hours/week : 40.00 1st Shift Client: Medical Device Company Job Category: Accounting/Finance Level Of Experience: Mid-Level Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only) Note β’ Remote, candidates do not need to be local as long as they can work 8am - 5pm PT 3 Must Haves On The Resume β’ Data analyst, very proficient in excel, resource management experience Job Description β’ The Business Metrics/Analytics is responsible for analyzing NPD project resource information into business intelligence to support the strategic objectives of the R&D organization and drive data management excellence. Includes data and technology management (data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics generation/management and reporting. β’ Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts and principles of business metrics and analytical techniques/tools. β’ Works with and enhances utilization of current software systems l to improve Project and Portfolio Management processes . β’ The ideal candidate combines the skills of portfolio, resource management and forecasting. Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills And Knowledge β’ Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting / Business, Data Engineering, or related discipline β’ One or more years of experience in relevant analytical experience with a focus on planning, modeling, forecasting, budgeting, ο¬nancial analysis, and reporting required β’ Portfolio Management β’ Resource Planning and reporting β’ Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office β’ Expert level experience with Excel is a key requirement of the Analyst (pivot tables, macros, reports, charts, slicers, dashboards) β’ Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools (e.g. PlanView) is a plus β’ Power BI experience is also strongly desired β’ Experience with tools utilized to automate and create/maintain analytical reports and dashboards β’ Experience translating analysis results into recommendations. β’ Collect, organize, analyze and summarize complex data β’ Ability to learn new technologies quickly and test/implement them using an iterative approach β’ Ability to drive requests and issues to closure β’ Ability to work independently and multi-task β’ Collaboration and facilitation within the Portfolio Management Team and with users and other stakeholders as needed β’ Effective written and oral communication skills β’ Ability to follow established policies and procedures β’ Demonstrated results oriented capabilities β’ Adaptability; learns quickly and responds positively to complexity and change. β’ Comfortable working in an environment that is constantly evolving. β’ Team player with superior people skills and a positive attitude. β’ Able to make and communicate the results of tough decisions.
