Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for business growth Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that communicate key performance indicators Collaborate with various teams to establish performance metrics and implement predictive analytics Work closely with business units to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights Document new requirement specifications and process workflows Provide feedback on design and setup during review meetings with management Gather and analyze data from internal and external sources Identify patterns, trends and insights to support strategic initiatives Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across platforms Support data-driven decision making through predictive and prescriptive analytics Enhance business intelligence tools and processes for scalability and efficiency Conduct ad hoc analysis to address specific business questions Stay current on BI technologies, methodologies and industry best practices Other duties as assigned Skills 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools Experience with data analysis and modeling techniques Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders Must be able to pass a background check Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView Solid understanding of SQL and databases Familiarity with programming languages like Python and R Understanding data modelling and data warehousing concepts Able to interpret complex data and transform it into meaningful insights Easily integrate data from various sources, allowing for a comprehensive view of organizational performance Recognize trends and patterns within data sets and understand their implications for the organization Strong communication and presentation skills Experience using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Experience using data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery Proficiency in SQL to interact with database management systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL; executing queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data Must be adept at translating technical findings into language that non-technical stakeholders can easily understand, ensuring that their insights are actionable Collaboration and stakeholder management skills; work closely with various departments to align data initiatives with broader business objectives Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Information Science, Economics or related field A Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification through the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is a plus Experience in business intelligence Experience in an analytics role Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance; Wellness Program Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care, Commuter) Short-Term and Long-Term Disability options Basic Life and AD&D Insurance (Company Provided) Voluntary Life and AD&D options 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with matching after one year Paid Time Off Company Overview Cayuse Holdings is an economic enterprise that specializes in providing sourcing and diversity solutions.
