Business Insights Analyst
Crew is dedicated to helping clients achieve operational efficiency through IT project delivery and business process improvement. They are seeking a Business Insights Analyst who will be responsible for data analysis, modeling, and creating business intelligence dashboards while supporting compliance and operational efficiency efforts. Responsibilities Perform detailed impact analysis and scenario planning related to pilot contracts, schedules, and pay structures Quantify proposed changes and communicate trade-offs clearly Develop working knowledge of the Pilot Working Agreement (PWA) and FAA regulations Use data to ensure compliance and anticipate downstream impacts Build presentations and reports that translate complex analytics into compelling business cases for leadership and stakeholders Extract, clean, and transform large datasets using SQL, Oracle, and Teradata Leverage Python and AWS for advanced analytics where possible (ETLs creating a pipeline) Partner with internal teams to streamline workflows, automate recurring analyses, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency During contract negotiation cycles provide rapid-turn impact assessments and scenario modeling to support senior leaders through off-site rotations Develop expertise independently and quickly Lean on SMEs when needed but demonstrate persistence in navigating complex data and systems Skills Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline) 0–2 years of experience in analytics, consulting, or related field Proficiency in SQL and experience with large relational databases (Oracle, Teradata) Exposure to coding Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to connect detail to business impact Clear and confident communication skills, including data storytelling and presentation development High intellectual curiosity, resilience, and ability to learn quickly in ambiguous environments PowerPoint skills Familiarity with SQL, Python and AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.) Aptitude and willingness to quickly upskill in knowledge of pilot contracts, FAA regulations, or collective bargaining agreements Prior experience in consulting, operations research, or workforce planning Benefits Comprehensive healthcare package (medical, dental, vision) Disability and group term life insurance Health and flexible spending accounts Utilization bonus 401(k) with match Flexible time off for salaried employees Parental leave for salaried employees Flexible work arrangements Company Overview Founded in tandem with Turnberry Solutions, Crew serves as an innovative talent development program for both Turnberry and our clients by focusing exclusively on high-performing early-career consultants.
