Business Development Representative - Grata

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for achieving sales goals, managing pipelines, conducting client demonstrations, and building relationships with customers to drive business growth.ResponsibilitiesAchieve daily contact goals along with monthly Qualified Sales Meetings and quality meetings that translate into estimate-stage pipelineCollaborate effectively with ‘internal end clients’ - field sales representatives Deliver key promotional messages to a sophisticated target audience, primarily through telephone contact in addition to emailsCreate and manage large pipelines of prospective opportunities and report on pipeline progress in review meetings with managementConduct virtual demonstrations of the DatasiteOne platform and related functionality to prospective clientsPeriodically travel into assigned geographic territories to conduct target account reviews, quarterly business reviews and attend client meetings to deliver the Datasite value proposition (approximately 15% of the time)Engage with Datasite’s Sales Enablement team to become trained and certified on Datasite's productsMaintain accurate records of all call activity in CRM system (SalesForce) that includes call information, sales leads and customer profiles correctly and accurately in a timely mannerWork closely with the wider Marketing team, Sales and Product development to develop a better understanding of our target markets’ needs, as well as key competitor strengths and weaknessesDevelop a high level of market, industry and role knowledge to enable peer-to-peer conversations and understand customer needs and requirementsBuild rapport and relationships with internal and external customers through prompt, courteous, efficient and professional serviceSkills4 - year college degree required1 - 2+ years sales experienceExperience in lead generating/appointment-making, with a solution-based approach helpfulClient service or telephone sales experience with solution selling methodology - technology solution sales experience will be highly regardedDemonstrated experience of meeting and exceeding targetsSales, Marketing or Business focus preferredA strong, natural interest in finance would be an advantagePrevious experience in a technology SaaS company would be a great advantageIdeal background in the financial services/legal sectorsBenefitsHealth insurance (medical, dental, vision)A retirement savings planPaid time offOther employee benefitsCompany OverviewGrata is a business-to-business search engine for finding and targeting private companies.
