Business Development Representative

Our next Business Development Representative (BDR) will be an integral part of our expanding BDR team, working across a wide range of services. A BDR at Modus typically reports to the BDR Manager, and works closely with the executive team to help meet revenue generation goals.

Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation

Dedicate ~80% of time to personal outreach: prospecting into target accounts, running outbound campaigns, booking meetings, and engaging senior decision-makers.

Execute high-volume outbound activities (emails, calls, LinkedIn messages) to engage decision-makers and schedule meetings for the executive team.

Set the standard for outreach quality and results through hands-on execution.

Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and target market segments to tailor outreach efforts effectively.

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing: Work closely with the marketing & executive team to refine targeting strategies, craft compelling outreach messaging, and optimize the lead handoff process.

CRM Management: Log all activities accurately, manage the prospect pipeline, and maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system (HubSpot) to support reporting and performance tracking.

Other duties related to the position may arise from time to time and may be assigned

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in a US-based sales development, business development, or related role, ideally in a B2B professional services environment, meeting or exceeding quotas for booking sales meetings with prospects

Strong written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages to US-based audiences.

Confidence in engaging with senior decision-makers.

Highly organized and self-motivated with a proactive approach to driving results.

Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and outreach tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seamless.ai).

Ability to understand and articulate complex digital services (such as Engineering, User Experience, SEO & GEO, and Marketing Strategy).

Experience leveraging Gen AI tools to augment workflows
