Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will generate new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying leads, supporting the sales team, and driving revenue growth.ResponsibilitiesProspecting: Researching and identifying potential clients and new business opportunitiesOutreach: Contacting prospects through cold calls, emails, social media and other methodsLead Qualification: Engaging with potential customers to determine if they are a good fit for Mindgruve's products and/or servicesMeeting Setting: Scheduling and arranging meetings for senior business development team members and company executives to move the qualified leads further down the sales funnelDiscovery and Research:Conduct research to identify potential clients and understand their business needsGather and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and client insights to support sales strategiesCollaboration: Work with the sales team members and Mindgruve department leads to develop compelling and tailored proposals that address client needs and showcase our servicesSales Support:Assist the sales team with preparing presentations, sales collateral, and other materials needed for client meetings and pitchesTrack and manage sales leads, opportunities, and pipeline status using CRM toolsCoordinate and schedule meetings, demos, and follow-ups with potential clientsAdministrative Tasks:Maintain and update sales documentation, including client contacts, proposal status, and meeting notesProvide general administrative support to the sales team as neededSkillsBachelor's degree1 ½ - 2 years of experience in sales support, marketing, or a related role, preferably within a performance marketing, retail media agency or commerce focused agencyStrong understanding of performance marketing and retail media concepts and strategiesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Apple, Google, Microsoft software applicationsHubSpot proficiency or similar CRMExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of digital advertising platforms and analyticsAvailable to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) from our San Diego officeBonus points if you're bilingual in Spanish and/or PortugueseBenefitsMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible spending accountVoluntary life and accident plans401(k) retirement plan with matchingCompany OverviewMindgruve is a modern media, commerce, and data technology company.
