The Business Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting and creating sales qualified opportunities, while also collaborating with sales executives to drive growth.ResponsibilitiesUse an outbound approach to build a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities by penetrating new accounts through high activity calling, emailing, LinkedIn messaging, and other creative means to reach prospects and provide FacilityOS's value propositionDevelop quality messaging and outreach tactics to attract new prospects to FacilityOSLead on discovery conversations with prospects, to unearth challenges and an understanding of how FacilityOS can fit into their businessUse prospecting tools like SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and Qualified to their maximum potential to bring in new clientsProvide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the BDR role to managementConvert qualified leads into scheduled product demos with your Account ExecutivesCollaborate with Sales Executives and work on vertical-based cadences and messaging to attract new business opportunitiesMeet or exceed monthly targetsSkills1 year of previous experience in business development, sales, customer service, inside sales, prospecting or equivalentPrior experience or knowledge working in the SaaS industryExcellent written and verbal communicator, comfortable speaking with managers, executives, and peersStrong work ethicCoachable, eager to learn and willing to receive and implement feedbackHighly motivated, self-starter with a high degree of initiativeCan-do attitude, results and goal-driven mindsetAbility to achieve set goalsAbility to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all timesAttention to detail in all areas of work with strong problem identification and problem resolution skillsAptitude for technology and the ability to learn by doingFlexibility to thrive in a scale-up, high growth environmentCompany OverviewFacilityOS is a global leader in facility, asset, and visitor management.
