Business Development Representative
Diligent is a leader in governance, risk, and compliance SaaS solutions, seeking a Business Development Representative to drive growth by engaging with potential clients. The BDR will focus on building an outbound pipeline, generating interest, and achieving sales targets while utilizing various lead generation tools.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate expertise at using lead generation tools to routinely extract contacts and create accurate and targeted lists of prospects (Cold calling, LinkedIn, Outreach, Sales Force, ZoomInfo, etc)Conduct sales development best practices through email, phone, and social activities using the various software tools to connect with new prospectsUtilize smart, targeted questions to speak knowledgeably to qualify the right decisions makersSkillfully build interest and influence opportunities with new prospectsCoordinate meetings/demonstrations on account executive’s calendar and log activities in CRMMeet or exceed targets & key performance indicators (KPIs) as determined by the businessAbility to assist others with viable techniques to drive overall team performanceOther duties may be requested in accordance with business needSkillsA strong passion for working in a sales-focused, target-driven environmentSolid understanding of the sales process, including marketing, prospecting, cold calling, and managing the sales cycleProven ability to effectively communicate the product's unique value proposition and quickly gain in-depth product knowledgeExceptional communication skills, with a track record of engaging and influencing senior-level executivesExcellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and persuasive messagesHigh energy, with a positive and can-do attitude that drives successExperience in SaaS salesExperience building strong stakeholder relationships at c-suite levelBenefitsFlexible work environmentGlobal days of serviceComprehensive health benefitsMeeting free daysGenerous time off policyWellness programsCompany OverviewDiligent is the largest GRC SaaS provider, with 1M users, across 23,000 organizations, valued at $7B+ and $500 million+ in revenue.
