Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will focus on growing Clio’s customer base by consulting prospective clients, conducting outbound prospecting, and collaborating with Account Executives to create qualified sales opportunities.ResponsibilitiesOutbound telephone-based prospecting to identified target accounts within an assigned segmentCold-calling volume of 65-100 calls per day with the intent to qualify key leadsWorking and collaborating directly with our Account ExecutivesCreate awareness of, boost interest in, and set up demonstrations of Clio's productBuild an understanding of the assigned territory/segment, develop unique solutions to uncover prospects and create leadsDevelop Sales skills through regular training and review cyclesConsult and adapt to evolving sales environmentUnderstand customers' practice areas, competitive differentiators, technical requirements, and demonstrate Clio's value propositionReport on weekly reports, both qualitative and quantitativeDocumenting all sales activities in Salesforce and meeting daily KPIsSkills1-2 years of sales experience or transferable experience, including cold-callingKnowledge and passion for technology and cloud-based productsA competitive mindsetA continuous improvement mindsetDemonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AISales experience and training at a leading tech/IT companyExperience at a SaaS companyBenefitsTop-tier health benefitsDentalVision insuranceHybrid work environment, with expectation for local Clions (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin and Sydney) to be in office minimum twice per week.Flexible time off policy, with an encouraged 20 days off per year.$2000 annual counseling benefitRRSP matching and RESP contributionClioversary recognition program with special acknowledgement at 3, 5, 7, and 10 yearsCompany OverviewClio provides cloud-based legal practice management software, helping law firms manage cases, billing, and client relationships.
