Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients by conducting market research, generating leads, and building relationships with potential customers. Responsibilities Research financial institutions, industry trends, competitors, and buyer personas to identify new business opportunities Analyze target customer segments to generate high-quality leads within banks and credit unions Build and maintain prospect lists with relevant contact and organizational insights to support pipeline growth Engage prospective customers through cold calls, targeted email campaigns, and social outreach Develop personalized messaging that resonates with banking and credit union decision-makers Maintain consistent prospecting activity to generate meetings and new sales opportunities Partner closely with the sales team to identify, engage, and qualify potential customers Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospect needs and alignment with Kinective solutions Ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities to Account Executives with clear context and insights Track outreach activities, prospect engagement, and lead progression in CRM systems Build early-stage relationships with prospective customers and represent Kinective professionally Attend networking events and industry engagements to expand connections and generate new leads Generate consistent pipeline for the sales team by researching, engaging, and qualifying prospective banks and credit unions, converting outreach into high-quality meetings and opportunities Meet or exceed activity and meeting targets through a mix of outbound prospecting, including cold calls, email campaigns, networking, and social selling Deliver well-qualified opportunities to Account Executives by understanding customer needs, validating fit with Kinective solutions, and effectively positioning our value Maintain a healthy and organized pipeline by accurately tracking prospect engagement, activities, and opportunities in CRM systems Continuously improve outreach performance by testing messaging, sharing insights with Sales and Marketing, and refining lead targeting strategies Build expertise in the fintech and banking technology landscape, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer challenges and how Kinective helps financial institutions operate more intelligently Progress toward expanded sales responsibilities, building the skills and performance track record needed to grow into future roles within the sales organization Skills High School Diploma or higher 1-2+ years of experience in a business/sales development role.
