Business Development Representative
About the Role Symetri is building a BDR team to accelerate growth in our IP product portfolio and target industries . As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be on the front lines of prospecting and opening new opportunities for our Account Executives (AEs). This role is exclusively focused on top-of-funnel activity- identifying , engaging, and qualifying leads to creating high-value sales meetings. This is an ideal role for ambitious sales professionals eager to sharpen their skills in outbound prospecting, demand generation, and pip eline creation while laying out the foundation for a future career in full-cycle sales. What You'll Do - Develop and manage a high volume of outbound prospecting activity across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels. - Conduct 80–100+ cold calls per day with prospective buyers to qualify for interest and schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives. - Execute targeted outreach campaigns tailored to Symetri's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). - Partner with Marketing, Sales Ops, and AEs to maximize conversion from inbound leads and outbound efforts. - Build credibility with prospects through research, discovery questions, and value-driven conversations. - Log all activities, notes, and outcomes in Salesforce to ensure pipeline accuracy and visibility. - Consistently achieve weekly/monthly quotas for meetings booked and qualified pipelines created. What We're Looking For - 1–2 years of business development, cold calling, or outbound sales experience (technology or SaaS preferred). - Track record of hitting or exceeding activity and meeting generation targets. - Experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM) to manage leads and pipelines . - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Competitive, resilient, and motivated by results. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle high activity volume. - Technically savvy-comfortable navigating multiple tools, alerts, and platforms.
