Introduction: As a key member of Action1’s Business Development team, you’ll play a critical role in fueling Action1’s growth by owning the top of the sales funnel. This is an early-stage, high-impact position where you’ll help shape how outbound works at Action1. You’ll be expected to operate in a scrappy, startup environment, test new approaches, and contribute ideas—not just follow a playbook. Responsibilities: Prospect into target accounts through a high-volume outbound motion (calls, email, LinkedIn) Prioritize and qualify leads based on defined ICP (200+ endpoints focus) Conduct cold outreach, with a strong emphasis on cold calling Identify and engage the right personas within accounts Collaborate with AEs to generate qualified pipeline Research accounts and craft thoughtful, personalized messaging Test and iterate on outreach strategies, messaging, and workflows Contribute ideas to improve team processes, tooling, and approach Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline hygiene in CRM Requirements 6–12 months of BDR/SDR experience (inbound + outbound) Strong cold calling skills and comfort picking up the phone Experience with lead qualification and account research Exposure to cybersecurity, IT, or SaaS (preferred) Ability to work in a scrappy, startup environment—not dependent on tools or rigid processes  Curious, adaptable, and willing to test new approaches Team-oriented with a no-ego, collaborative mindset Benefits A collaborative environment encouraging you to own your domain and implement best practices Stable income, benefits, flexible working hours, and opportunities for promotion.
