This role will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights on lead quality and market trends, while also participating in trade shows and marketing events. This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, Utah.Frequently Asked Questions:What is a day in the life of a Business Development Representative?Lead generation through research and contact sourcing, conducting cold calls, sending emails, and utilizing LinkedIn to connect with prospects and schedule meetings.Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs, share insights from prospect interactions, and coordinate efforts for lead conversion.Assist in organizing and attending marketing events, trade shows, and webinars to generate leads and network with potential clients.Engage in ongoing training sessions to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry insights.Monitor personal performance metrics (e.g., calls made, meetings scheduled, leads converted) and adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.Research relevant stakeholders usually in marketing, sales or ecommerce roles and identify value propositionsCraft and test value-driven messages specific to current pain points and needsWork closely with enterprise sales reps on sales funnels, plans, pipeline and targets tracking everything you do in SalesforceOutbound outreach with compelling messages through phone & emailWork closely with the marketing team to penetrate and set appointments with enterprise accountsWhat will I need to thrive in this role?Bachelor's degree in business or related fieldTrack record of hitting quotaExperience in phone sales and qualifying leadsExcellent written and communication skills - on par with enterprise executivesCreative thinker and problem solverHighly organized and disciplinedProficiency with GoogleSuiteExperience with Salesforce CRMExperience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and OutreachStrong communication and organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and resilience in the face of challengesWhat does high performance look like?You follow through with all assignments in a timely mannerYou give 100% to all tasks and projects you are givenYou achieve your goalsYou will take full ownership of your part of the sales funnel and follow through to completionWhat is my potential for career growth?This role has the potential to move into an Inside Sales Representative position within Pattern.What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?Candidates can expect a structured onboarding program with a three-month ramp-up period, during which they will gradually take on more responsibilities and work towards meeting monthly sales quotas.What is the team like?You will work alongside the Pattern US sales team and be mentored by the Director of Business Development and Enterprise Account Reps. This team is succeeding and surpassing their goals.
