Business Development Manager (Hydraulics)

Responsibilities:

Drive disproportionate growth of Summit’s Hydraulic Business by leading strategy and operations, generating new business and developing high-value customer relationships.
Lead direct sales efforts by delivering value‑based solutions supported by strong application engineering.
Monitor market trends and customer needs, translating insights into actionable growth strategies.
Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, R&D, Marketing, Pricing, and Supply Chain to support new opportunities and product development.
Engage regularly with major OEMs and customers through frequent on‑site visits.
Support the sales organization through lead generation initiatives, sales tools, training, and market intelligence.
Utilize CRM to track opportunities, customer interactions, and industry insights.
Represent Summit at industry trade shows, seminars, and association events.​

Qualifications:

Engineering degree (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience with hydraulic systems operating under high load and high pressure
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or product management.
Proven ability to grow markets and influence cross‑functional teams.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
Willingness to travel extensively (around 50%).
