About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our Sales team. In this role, you will manage and support a designated group of accounts within your region or territory, with a strong focus on achieving monthly sales targets and delivering year-on-year growth. You will identify opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen customer relationships, and drive the sell-in and sell-through of core product lines. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that requires strong commercial acumen, a proactive sales approach, and the ability to build lasting partnerships with key retail customers. Why Join Us? Opportunity to work with a recognised global business Varied and autonomous territory-based sales role Exposure to major retail customers and strong product portfolios Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth and development Key Responsibilities Manage and grow sales across a portfolio of retail accounts Achieve monthly sales targets and support year-on-year business growth Identify and secure new range opportunities suited to customer and store demographics Build strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers Conduct regular store and customer reviews and implement business development plans Plan and execute store visits around sales opportunities, promotional activity, and new product launches Maintain strong knowledge of competitor activity and market trends Promote products through trade shows, conventions, VIP nights, and in-store events Deliver product training and support store staff Ensure products are professionally displayed and correctly priced in-store Use Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and reporting tools effectively Manage territory expenses and provide regular sales updates and feedback About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Strong sales experience within electrical specialty and department store retailers Experience with working with customers such as Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi, Betta Electrical, Myer, and David Jones A proven track record of delivering strong sales performance and managing customer accounts Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability Confident communication and presentation skills The ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a team environment Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills A willingness to travel regularly within your state and interstate Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related field, preferred.
