Business Development Coordinator

This role involves coordinating new business opportunities, assisting with pitch operations, and managing timelines and materials to ensure organized and effective presentations.ResponsibilitiesAssist with building and updating introductory credentials decks for new business opportunitiesSupport the preparation of RFIs/RFPs, pitch materials, and other new business deliverablesConduct background research on inbound opportunities, categories, and competitors to support vetting and qualificationMaintain shared folders, trackers, and meeting notes to keep pitch workstreams organized and on trackAssist with resourcing coordination and content support for agency-owned channels, including social media and newslettersSupport updates to master case study documents, partnering with account teams to ensure strong writing, accuracy, and consistencyMaintain and update databases for new business prospecting, pitch consultants, and agency contactsHelp develop and manage pitch timelines in collaboration with the Business Development team & scheduling of all internal and external meetingsCollaborate cross-functionally with strategy, creative, media, and leadership teams in a professional and proactive mannerSkillsFirst experience in advertising, marketing, or communications industries, e.g. as part of an internshipStrong business sense with a keen growth mindset and interest in learning about agency processes and client interactionHighly organized and self-motivated, with strong attention to detailExperience and comfort in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to anticipate and respond quickly to changeA clear and strong communicator who can build trust and confidence among clients and colleagues alikePersonable with high emotional intelligence, given the role requires interaction with leaders across Giant Spoon and external client partnersA thoughtful strategic thinker able to embrace and adapt the Giant Spoon narrative across mediums, channels, and opportunitiesA passion for creativity and a strong sense of curiosityDigitally connected, passionate about technology and innovation with an insatiable curiosity for how it applies to our industryFamiliarity with basic presentation design, Google Suite, Slack and Microsoft OfficeBenefitsMedical/dental/vision insurance401(k) matchingPaid time offVarious other benefits and perksCompany OverviewGiant Spoon is a marketing strategy and innovation agency that provides short- and long-term marketing and business planning.
