Business Development Coordinator

They are seeking a proactive Business Development Coordinator to support strategic pursuits and strengthen client relationships by coordinating pursuit activities and producing high-quality client-facing content. Responsibilities Provide administrative and coordination support to client account leads and senior client/market leaders to execute day-to-day sales and account activities Maintain accurate, up-to-date opportunity, pursuit, and portfolio information across internal systems; support dashboard/report monitoring Support account and opportunity setup and portfolio management activities, including coordinating internal reviews/approvals and required documentation Coordinate pursuit readiness by organizing schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables; keep teams aligned through internal communications and status updates Support proposal and client deliverable development by coordinating content, schedules, and inputs across sales, project managers, marketing, graphic design, and publishing resources Proofread and edit technical and non-technical materials for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and formatting to ensure compliant, professional submittals Compile and format business development materials (reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations) Coordinate meetings and events, including Microsoft Teams and in-person meetings; assist with client meetings, industry events, and account planning activities Track and support management of sales/pursuit budgets and related reporting Conduct research on clients, markets, and upcoming opportunities to support account planning and business development strategy Serve as a connector across sales, operations, marketing, and delivery teams to support collaboration, smooth handoffs, and coverage during peak pursuit activity (under direction of senior leaders) Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong proficiency in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and process compliance Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-office professional environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); Adobe (Acrobat Pro, InDesign) Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, technical, or a related field preferred 1-4 years of experience in the AEC, engineering, construction, architecture, or professional services preferred Benefits Medical Dental Vision Basic life insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off (allocated plans start date 17 days per calendar year) Seven paid holidays Caregiver leave The ability to purchase company stock at a discount Legally mandated benefits Company Overview Jacobs leads the global professional services sector delivering solutions for a more connected, sustainable world.
