We are seeking a Partnership Development Associate (M&A) to help identify and cultivate business relationships with privately held, founder-led companies that align with our long-term growth objectives.

Primary

Responsibilities:

The Partnership Development Associate (M&A) drives front-end sourcing for Nations Roof’s acquisition strategy, reporting to the Director of Business Development (M&A). This role involves: • Cold Calling & Outreach: Professionally and discreetly connect with business owners and executives. Present Nations Roof as a strategic buyer, ask discovery questions, handle objections, build rapport, and coordinate NDAs and follow-bolthires via CRM. • Lead Qualification & Discovery:Validaterevenue, EBITDA, growth trends, service mix, ownership structure, decision-makers, seller readiness, motivations, and cultural fit.

Prepare concise qualification summaries for handoff. • Research & Market Mapping:Define acquisition criteria (revenue size, geography, service offerings). Build industry market maps andidentifyoff-market opportunities using databases, networks, and directories. Enrich profiles using Apollo, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, LinkedIn, and automation tools. • Pipeline Management & Reporting:MaintainaccurateCRM data (HubSpot, Affinity, Salesforce), ensure outreach consistency, escalate leads to senior M&A leadership, develop dashboards, and produce weekly/monthly sourcing reports.

• Appointment Setting & Handoff:Prepare summaries and NDAs, schedule introductory meetings, and support early-stage due diligence. • Performance Metrics:Track monthly qualified targets, outreach-to-NDA conversion rates, CRM accuracy, and handoff timeliness. • Additional

Duties:Maintainethical and confidential relationships, support documentation flow, and meet milestones across sourcing and execution teams. Education & Experience • 2+ years in M&A sourcing, business development, or lead generation (3–5 years preferred).

• Demonstrated success in cold calling and outreach, generating qualified leads. • Skilled in high-volume outreach to C-suite and founder-level decision makers with professionalism and discretion. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or similar preferred. • Experience in construction, industrial services, or facility management is a strong plus. • Proven ability toidentifyand qualify founder-led, privately held businesses. • Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person strategy sessions.
