Business Development Associate

AXANEXA is hiring a Business Development Associate to join our team in Chicago, IL (Remote, US).

This is a mid-level position working on both internal and external sales opportunities. As a monday.com Platinum Partner, AXANEXA helps customers get the most out of their monday.com experience by offering implementation, integration, and custom app development services. This role is critical to that mission.

monday.com is a global leading work management platform utilized by 150k+ businesses as a core tool. monday.com has developed an ecosystem for partners to create client specific custom app ranging from custom UI to full feature apps. This position requires industry knowledge to maximize the benefits monday.com offers.

This is a full-time position featuring flexible hours, remote work, PTO, and benefits. This is a base plus bonus pay structure.

Responsibilities

Below are some of the responsibilities an Account Manager is expected to take on in their position:

Proactively seeks new business opportunities in the market through cold calling and email marketing

Qualifies leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

Maintains organized and methodical management of all accounts, ensuring both risks and opportunities are identified quickly

Promotes the company's products/services addressing by predicting clients' objectives and customizing to increase satisfaction both with AXANEXA and monday.com

Dedicates significant time and effort to become a monday.com SME so that sales of services maximize products' benefits (Note: This is a core performance indicator)

Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.

Prepares sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines



Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

Below are the qualifications that are expected of a Business Development Manager:

Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager, sales executive, or a relevant role with proven sales track record and evident market knowledge

2+ years of experience in B2B/B2C sales, preferably in software or technology sales

Experience using and selling monday.com is preferred

Impressive communication and negotiation skills, including presentation delivery

Demonstrable ability to build positive and lasting rapport

Time management and planning skills required

Maintains open, transparent, and friendly team atmosphere

Solid skills in both Microsoft Suite and G-Suite, other technology skills a plus (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot)

Willing to travel as needed either to prospect, client, conference, or event

Experience in working in a technology partner ecosystem
