The Business Development Associate (BDA) will drive lead flow to the Advisor Recruiting team through prospecting, lead qualification, and reporting, primarily via phone and digital outreach. This role offers a robust career path with opportunities for advancement into Internal Regional Director roles.ResponsibilitiesProspect financial advisors to gauge/create interest in meeting with a LPL recruiterUse the news cycle, territory makeup and direction of the recruiters/leaders to execute on weekly prospecting campaignsUse independent judgement to qualify a lead, determining if the lead should be introduced to the pipeline by presenting to the Internal Regional Director or field Regional Director100 outreaches per day – cold calls (primary), individual emails and social media outreaches (LinkedIn)Utilize Salesforce.com to track individual KPIs and understand the impact of lead flow on territory funnel and resultsDevelop skillset, knowledge base and industry experience in order to qualify for next level opportunity as an Internal Regional DirectorSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related areasAbility to communicate effectively with leadership, field recruiting professionals, and internal recruitersMust be in office 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday)Highly motivated and resilient by achieving sales targets consistentlyAbility to quickly build rapport, primarily via phone based communicationComfortable with some travel, two times per year for trainingExperience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Salesforce, MS OutlookExperience or understanding of broker/dealers, advisory, finance or sales principalsBenefits401K matchingHealth benefitsEmployee stock optionsPaid time offVolunteer time offAnd moreCompany OverviewLPL Financial provides investment solutions and tools for independent financial advisors.
