Business Data Modeler
About the position CGI has an immediate need for a Business Data Modeler to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years! . This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable. We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Data Modeler to support enterprise data initiatives and analytics programs. In this role, you will capture and document data modeling requirements, design logical and physical data models, and ensure alignment with business and technical objectives. You will collaborate closely with development and testing teams, serving as a key point of contact throughout Agile delivery cycles. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in relational and dimensional data modeling, a solid understanding of data warehousing principles, and hands-on expertise with industry-standard modeling tools. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to translate business needs into technical data structures, and comfort working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
