Business Data Migration Expert – Finance (SAP)

This is a remote position. We are looking for a Business Data Migration Expert (Finance) to join a large-scale global ERP transformation program within the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will take ownership of finance data migration activities across multiple countries, ensuring high-quality data delivery aligned with global standards and strict timelines. You will act as the functional single point of contact (SPoC) for data migration within your scope and play a critical role in shaping how financial data is transformed into the new ERP landscape. Your Mission Own end-to-end data migration activities for Finance data objects (GL, AP, AR, Assets, P&L, WBS, etc.) Analyze, cleanse, and prepare data from legacy systems to target ERP (SAP) Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to define value mappings and transformation logic Ensure data quality, readiness, and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle Approve and validate data loads and migration results Support manual data loads and dual maintenance activities Act as SPoC during testing, defect resolution, and hypercare phases Work closely with country Business Data Owners and global teams ​ Project Context Global ERP transformation program (LDC) Complex multi-country data migration environment Structured migration cycles including Mock runs, defect resolution, and production loads High focus on data quality, governance, and alignment with global standards Requirements What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance & Data Migration Strong knowledge of Finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Assets, P&L, WBS, Internal Orders) Proven experience in SAP implementations or ERP transformation programs Hands-on experience with data migration lifecycle (cleansing, mapping, validation, loads) Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset Experience in global / cross-country projects Language Requirements Fluent English Fluent Spanish What Makes You Stand Out Experience in large-scale ERP programs (pharma = big plus) Strong ownership mindset — you don’t just analyze, you deliver Ability to manage complex stakeholders across regions Experience working in structured migration cycles (mock loads, hypercare) Benefits Be part of a global, high-impact transformation program Long-term engagement with clear roadmap until 2026 Exposure to complex, enterprise-level SAP environments Work with senior stakeholders across regions Location: Remote (LATAM) - Occasional travel to Mexico Duration: until 08/2026 B2B contract Global Pharmaceutical Project
