Business Data Analyst (Data Engineer)

Job Title: Data Engineer – Network Analytics Location: Remote Experience: 4–6 years Overview We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for deep-diving into data. The role will focus on supporting operation/financial teams by delivering actionable insights, building data pipelines, and enabling data-driven decision-making for network optimization. Key Responsibilities Perform deep-dive analysis on large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models Develop dashboards and reports for network performance monitoring Analyse operational metrics Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, operations, and product Automate repetitive data processes and improve existing workflows Required Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to “dig deep” into data Hands-on experience with SQL (advanced level) Experience with data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Python, ETL tools) Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (Snowflake, etc.) Experience building dashboards using tools like Power BI / Tableau Good understanding of logistics/network analytics (preferred but not mandatory) Ability to work with large, complex datasets Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
