About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Data Analyst/Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves analyzing and interpreting complex business data, utilizing advanced analytics, and applying machine learning techniques to derive actionable insights. You will be central to our data-driven decision-making processes and play a key role in achieving strategic goals across our organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
? Integrate and harmonize data from multiple sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
? Perform in-depth data analysis using statistical methods and machine learning techniques to uncover business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
? Develop, refine, and apply algorithms or models to key business metrics, aiming to optimize operations and address specific business questions.
? Synthesize findings and analyses into clear, actionable insights for decision-making purposes.
? Build predictive models for effective forecasting and trend analysis, enhancing business foresight and planning.
? Select and apply the most suitable algorithms and techniques based on specific business objectives and data characteristics.
? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in machine learning, data science, and related technology trends.
Required Skills/Abilities:
? Minimum of 4 ? 6 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst/Scientist in a business environment.
? Strong working knowledge and experience in creating and managing dashboards, with a particular focus on Sales and Operations data analytics and metrics.
? Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools for comprehensive dashboard development and data presentation.
? Advanced proficiency in programming languages and data manipulation tools.
? Demonstrated expertise in machine learning frameworks, statistical analysis, and complex data modeling.
? Exceptional analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset, with a strong ability to translate data insights into business strategies and outcomes.
Education and Experience:
? Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education.
? Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively across different teams and departments.
? Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering data-driven projects on time and within scope.
? Experience in using cloud-based data analytics platforms.
