Business Analyst with Medicaid experience

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a Connecticut State Office project. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of Business Analyst experience and strong Medicaid domain knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
ā¢ Work closely with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams to define project scope and objectives
ā¢ Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
ā¢ Prepare business requirement documents, process flows, use cases, and gap analysis
ā¢ Support testing activities including UAT, defect tracking, and validation of requirements
ā¢ Facilitate meetings, discussions, and status updates with stakeholders
ā¢ Ensure compliance with Medicaid policies, regulations, and state requirements
ā¢ Assist in process improvement and support implementation activities
Required Qualifications:
ā¢ Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst
ā¢ Strong experience in Medicaid projects/programs
ā¢ Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication
ā¢ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
ā¢ Experience working with cross-functional teams in a government or public sector environment is preferred
ā¢ Ability to work independently in a remote environment after initial onsite onboarding
Additional Information:
ā¢ Candidate must be available to work onsite for the first 2 days for mandatory security training and laptop issuance
ā¢ After the initial onsite requirement, this position will be remote/work from home
