Business Analyst I, OPL (Claims System Management)

BrokerLink is part of Intact Financial Corporation, and they are seeking a Business Analyst I, OPL to join their growing team. The role involves handling system referrals, meeting with regional teams to address system issues, and acting as a liaison between users and IT while supporting business requirements analysis. Responsibilities Handle and resolve day-to-day system referrals from users in a timely fashion Meet regularly with regional teams to review ongoing system issues Monitor trends to identify opportunities for user training and system changes and enhancements Act as the liaison between users, IT and other departments as required Test system changes Act as a subject matter expert for personal insurance systems Consult on system functionality Support in the analysis of business requirements for changes existing systems (Bug Fixes) Perform any other duties relating to production support as assigned by your manager Skills Demonstrated Experience with Claims tools/processes (Contact Claims and Contact 360) Project management experience, an asset Experience in production support Strong ability to investigate and analyse problems of a technical nature Demonstrated ability to cope with change effectively Have initiative and is autonomous Skills for time and priority management Ability to manage multiple files at the same time Good communication skills (oral and written) Knowledge of the Auto & Home insurance industry (asset) No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country Benefits Flexible work arrangements and a hybrid work model Possibility to purchase up to 5 extra days off per year Multiple benefits offered to support physical and mental wellbeing, including telemedicine, Wellness account and much more Share plan & other savings: up to 12% of salary or even more (ask how you could earn guaranteed income for life) Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance) Our pension offerings provide flexibility and long-term security for our employees beyond their careers.
