Business Analyst - Generation Reshaping/Very Large Customer

We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Business Analyst - Generation Reshaping/Very Large Customer. The role involves leading business administration readiness activities for Very Large Customer tariffs, supporting generation project acquisitions, and facilitating communication between developers and subject matter experts. Responsibilities Lead We Energies Very Large Customer tariff (VLC) business administration readiness activities, data aggregation/analysis and reporting needs Support of the WEC Energy Group Generation Shaping Plan and generation project acquisitions Support developers, and both internal and external subject matter experts in the execution of project due diligence Support utility-scale and Distributed Energy Resources (DER) diligence/Q&A logs to facilitate exchange of information between developers and subject matter experts Assist in the prioritization and ensure resolution of open Q&A prior to agreement execution and/or transaction close/start of commercial operations Participate in recurring developer calls and provide updates on the status of project due diligence Maintain and distribute reports containing cost and schedule information to leadership and assisting work groups Support the team’s continuous improvement efforts by offering perspective on reporting and process improvements, and in ensuring coordination and communication across assisting work groups as to project status, milestones and expectations Develop functional, process, and system documentation Skills Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline is required The Associate Business Analyst is an entry level analyst position where relevant experience is preferred Strong analysis, decision making and problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints Proficient in standard office software (MS Excel, Visio, Word) Experience working with project management methodology preferred Benefits Competitive pay and benefits Company Overview We Energies is the trade name of Wisconsin Electric Power Company and Wisconsin Gas LLC It was founded in 1896, and is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
