Business Analyst

IMT Insurance is a Midwest company with a rich heritage, offering personal and commercial insurance products. They are seeking a Business Analyst to join their Personal Lines Technical Services team, where the individual will solve business problems with technology and provide customer service and technical guidance. Responsibilities Work within a team to solve general business problems with technology Responsible for defining and executing technology in the company involving definition, development, maintenance and operation of systems as well as maintaining the current technology, researching, and implementing new procedures and techniques Ability to analyze simple relationships and configuration and communicate clear results Evaluate and interpret business requirements to create test cases Identify and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions Test system changes and enhancements to ensure they meet business specifications/needs and to verify overall system functionality and operability are appropriate and ready for implementation Relies on specific instructions and established guidelines to accomplish goals Consistently provide effective, timely and courteous service to internal and external customers Effectively communicate issues and concepts both orally and in writing Accepts input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback Works under direct supervision Skills A college education or 1-3 years relevant experience is needed to perform normal functions Possess limited knowledge of billing and claims procedures, personal and commercial lines coverages Ability to process, collect, interpret and manage information on all policy lines in order to identify, analyze and resolve problems and implement solutions Possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and maintain professional conduct to foster a cooperative work environment and build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues Consistently provide effective, timely and courteous service to internal and external customers Handle high levels of stress periodically Must possess a strong aptitude for project management through excellent organizational, problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills Comprehensive analytical, math and computer skills required with the ability to be very detail oriented while maintaining accuracy Ability to learn new skills and adjust to changing priorities, circumstances and direction Confidentiality and professionalism required at all times Must possess the ability to work well with others Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life & A D & D insurance 401K retirement savings accounts Spending accounts Long and short-term disability Profit share Paid vacation & sick time Employee assistant program Additional voluntary benefits Company Overview IMT Insurance is an insurance company that offers car, home, and business insurance products.
