Business Analyst

Aescape is looking for a Business Analyst to be the founding member of our data team, our go-to expert to work directly with stakeholders to run experiments and help teams make critical business decisions with data. While we already have a working stack and tools in place you'll be responsible for defining our analytics strategy, investigating new AI tools and capabilities, and ensuring our metrics accurately reflect business performance. What You’ll Do As a Business Analyst at Aescape you will…Serve as Aescape’s data expert, helping teams across the company deepen their understanding of metrics and analytics, turning business questions into actionable data.Define, operate and scale our data infrastructure, establishing golden tables, metrics, and ensuring pipeline health, working with external vendors where needed.Partner with product and marketing to design, plan and execute experiments and analyze results that drive strategic decisions.Build automated reporting systems and self-service analytics components for common business queries, present to leadership when required.Own KPI definition and reporting, surfacing trends and anomalies across the business.Lead customer satisfaction measurement initiatives with product and engineering.Create our AI/analytics roadmap and continuously optimize our data stack for scale.What You’ll BringAdvanced SQL expertise and proven ability to transform sometimes messy or unstructured data into reliable, scalable systems.Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to translate business requests into technical specifications, pushing back when appropriate.Track record of building automated analytics solutions and reducing manual processes.Experience with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and statistical analysis.Strong communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.Ability to diagnose data issues quickly and a drive to continuously improve and automate.Comfort working and making decisions with incomplete information.Nice To HaveYou have Python & Pandas experience for data analysis.You’ve experience building a data warehouse & analytics stack from the ground up.You have expertise in statistical analysis and predictive modeling.What’s In It For You Join a trailblazing tech company anticipated to transform the massage industry.The chance to make a difference with a product that empowers healthier and happier living.Team culture driven by passion, ambition, empowerment, inclusion, curiosity, and fun!We’ll grow together – your personal and professional growth are equally important.An environment that empowers individuals, emboldens teams, and rewards achievement.Early stage equity in a company led by serial entrepreneurs with multiple exits.Free massages in SF, NY HQ and our Partner locations!Medical, vision, and dental insurance covered by us.401k with 4% company match.Unlimited vacation, generous parental leave.
