Let’s talk more about the Build Engineer role and see if we’re destined to be together.As a Build Engineer, you will:Support and enhance build infrastructure (software part) Investigate issuesSupport education for yourself and your teammates; proactively share knowledge.What YOU bring to the team:BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or 2+ years of relevant work experience.Experienced Python and scripting developerUnderstand software building process, e.g. how the source code is compiled, linked, and packed for macOS, Windows, and LinuxKnow QMake and other build tools like CMake, Xcode (xcodebuild) and Make itself.Know Jenkins and Jenkins Pipeline, Groovy scriptingUnderstand code signing and notarizationWilling and able to take over existing code base, including legacy codeFamiliar with Git, JiraThe following are not required, but definitely nice to have:Docker, Vagrant, Ansible and Packer.ioC, C++, C#Know the process of App Store submissionKnow the process of Microsoft Driver submissionExperience with Jira and GitHub automationUS:Parallels is an award-winning productivity solution that helps users leverage the best technology out there, whether it’s Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, iOS, Android, or the cloud.
