Role Overview
⢠We are seeking a seasoned BSA with Property & Casualty Insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) with over 10 years of deep expertise in the P&C insurance domain.
⢠This individual must have significant experience working with property and casualty insurance data, with strong knowledge of data domains and SQL.
⢠You will work closely with our clients to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable tasks for our development team.
⢠You will serve as the bridge between the business stakeholders and the offshore development team, ensuring all requirements are communicated clearly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Engage with business stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
⢠Translate business needs into functional specifications for the offshore team.
⢠Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in property and casualty insurance, driving solutions and improvements for the client.
⢠Serve as a liaison between the client and offshore technical teams to ensure the accurate delivery of business requirements.
⢠Work extensively with P&C insurance data to help develop solutions that meet business and technical needs.
⢠Review project deliverables to ensure they align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
⢠Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the P&C insurance domain.
Qualifications
⢠10+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
⢠Extensive experience working with P&C insurance data, including data analysis, manipulation, and reporting.
⢠Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing insurance data.
⢠Deep understanding of P&C insurance processes, including underwriting, claims, policy administration, and regulatory compliance.
⢠Proven ability to engage with senior business stakeholders and offshore development teams.
⢠Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate business language into technical tasks.
⢠Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex business processes.
⢠Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers.
⢠Previous experience in a software services environment working with insurance clients.
⢠Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
