Brokerage Operations Manager - Real Estate Lead (Real Estate Referral + Cashback) Title options: Brokerage Operations Manager, Transactions Lead Location: NYC preferred (hybrid), open to remote (US) Type: Fractional / Part-time (with path to full-time) Comp: Cash retainer + performance bonus (equity optional for long-term) Role summary We’re building a marketplace inside a regulated category. This role is about making sure our workflows are clean, compliant, and scalable—without slowing the business down. You’ll design and run the operational backbone behind: referral matching, deal workflows, new brokerage partners intake and onboarding, new agent partners intake and onboarding, referral agreements, disclosures, transaction tracking, and customer cashback logic. What you’ll do • Build the operating playbook: intake → match → referral → tracking → close → payout • Create and maintain compliant workflows (disclosures, documentation, recordkeeping) • Partner onboarding + quality control (agents and brokerages) • Own transaction tracking and status reporting (pipeline truth) • Coordinate between customers, agents, and internal team on next steps • Work with counsel/Broker of Record as needed to keep everything tight • Design checklists, templates, scripts, and SOPs that scale What “good” looks like (first 30–60 days) • Clean onboarding checklist + compliance packet ready to use • A consistent process where every lead has a clear status and owner • Partner response time and acceptance tracked (basic SLA metrics) • Zero chaos during early volume spikes Ideal background • You’ve worked inside a real estate brokerage, referral business, or transaction ops role • You understand referrals, disclosures, and commission flows (buy/sell/rent) • You’re operationally sharp: systems, checklists, and follow-through • You can move fast without breaking compliance Bonus • Active NYS Brokers License • Experience with commission rebates/cashback programs • Familiarity with multi-state differences (rebate legality varies) • Experience building ops from scratch in a startup How to apply Send: • Your background in brokerage ops/compliance • Most current resume • A quick example of a system/playbook you’ve built • Your availability + desired retainer Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $70,349.31 - $84,721.75 per year Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
