Medical Imaging of Lehigh Valley (MILV), the largest independent private practice radiology group in Pennsylvania with over 125 radiologists, is seeking a breast imaging fellowship trained BC/BE radiologist to join our team of breast imaging specialists based at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), a part of Jefferson Health. main BHS sites perform over 100,000 exams per year. Medical Imaging of Lehigh Valley is located in the Lehigh Valley, which is a geographically and culturally diverse area, serving a mixture of urban, suburban, and rural populations. It is conveniently located in eastern Pennsylvania, approximately 1 hour from Philadelphia and 1.5 hours from New York City. Its proximity to major cities, coupled with affordable housing, strong school systems, and numerous cultural and recreational activities have made the Lehigh Valley one of the fastest growing regions in Pennsylvania. Multiple sites have the ACR center of excellence designation and NAPBC accreditation and include four main Breast Health Services sites that perform over 70,000 exams per year. The position includes opportunities to work full or part time at multiple outpatient Breast Health Centers throughout Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), a part of Jefferson Health. All imaging modalities are used, including 3D mammography with Hologic platform, upright and prone stereotactic biopsies, ultrasound and MRI guided breast procedures. We use SAVI reflector placement to replace traditional needle localizations. Our patients benefit from an alliance between the Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Our breast imagers play a vital role in breast cancer treatment by participating in a multidisciplinary team consisting of surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology and pathology service lines.
