Brand & UI Designer
We’re looking for a talented freelance designer who can help bring Lavela to life across both product and brand touchpoints. This role goes beyond interface design — we’re looking for someone with strong visual taste and brand sensibility who can translate an evolving identity across product UI, marketing, and social.
You’ll work from existing UX wireframes for the product, while also helping extend the Lavela brand in a thoughtful and cohesive way across customer-facing experiences. This is a great fit for a designer who is equally comfortable designing polished in-product screens and expanding a brand system across different channels.
What You’ll Do
• Translate wireframes into high-fidelity UI designs that feel polished, intuitive, and distinctly on-brand
• Apply and evolve Lavela’s visual identity across product, marketing, and social touchpoints
• Help create consistency across the brand experience, from app screens to launch assets and content moments
• Design clean, thoughtful layouts with strong attention to typography, spacing, hierarchy, and visual tone
• Deliver well-organized Figma files that are ready for collaboration and handoff
• Collaborate with our team as needed across product, brand, and creative execution
What We’re Looking For
• Strong Figma skills, with portfolio links required
• A portfolio that demonstrates both product UI and brand/marketing design work
• Strong design sensibility and the ability to create visually cohesive experiences across different mediums
• Experience applying or extending a brand system across digital touchpoints
• Sharp eye for detail and a high bar for craft, consistency, and visual polish
• Comfortable working independently and moving efficiently
Nice to Have
• Experience building or working within design systems and component libraries
• Experience designing across product, social, campaigns, or brand communications
• Ability to think beyond single screens and contribute to the overall feel of a brand
Engagement
• Freelance / Contract
• 10-20 hours/week
• Remote
• Timeline and scope to be discussed, with potential for ongoing work
