About the position

The Branch Banking Assistant Leader is responsible for driving branch revenue growth, ensuring operational integrity, and enhancing client experience excellence. This role focuses on building strong client relationships and achieving financial performance targets while supporting the development and coaching of branch team members.

Responsibilities
Ā• Drive market growth of primary client relationships and achieve growth targets in financial performance (deposits, loans, and non-interest income).

Ā• Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.

Ā• Support in the coaching, development, and mentorship of team members.
,
Ā• Actively support the execution of partner-produced sales and marketing initiatives.
,
Ā• Reinforce training, development, and coaching to branch teams on the mission and effective engagement with broader communities and customers.
,
Ā• Assist the Branch Banking Leader with talent management functions including employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, and succession planning.

Ā• Ensure all staff comply with compliance requirements.
,
Ā• Deliver client engagement and education using available tools and systems.
,
Ā• Foster a culture focused on providing an exceptional client experience.
,
Ā• Identify and mitigate reputational, regulatory, employee, and client risks by helping team members understand and adhere to all applicable bank policies and regulations.

Ā• Meet operational excellence standards and perform special projects as required.

Requirements
Ā• High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent, required.

Ā• 3+ Years of overall branch sales experience, required.
,
Ā• May require National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation.

Ā• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent), preferred.
,
Ā• Experience in a leadership role, preferred.
