Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized bookkeeper to manage the financial records of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, processing transactions, possess strong organizational skills, and have a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role involves proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software, managing financial documentation, assisting with payroll, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
• Perform double entry bookkeeping and ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards.
• Manage payroll processing for 30+ clients.
• Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Maintain filing systems for financial documents and correspondence, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
• Handle other bookkeeping tasks as assigned.

Experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online accounting software is required.
• Familiarity with financial concepts, technical accounting, and corporate accounting practices is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a bookkeeping role, particularly in a CPA office, is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members & customers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of financial report writing and payroll processes will be advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
